MPP Rick Nicholls presents Richard Taves with Diamond Jubilee Award

(WHEATLEY) – Chatham-Kent-Essex MPP Rick Nicholls was proud to present Richard Taves with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal on Sunday, in recognition of Taves’ longstanding commitment to his community.
“Rick’s dedication to keeping our community beautiful is all around us – his stewardship of the Two Creeks Conservation Area alone merits this recognition, and I’m pleased to be able to present him with this award.”
Taves’ is also known as a strong supporter of local arts and culture through his work with theatre groups.
“A multi-faceted volunteer, Rick has never shied away from finding ways to help out,” said Nicholls. “This award recognizes those that have made substantial contributions to their region, and Rick is undoubtedly deserving of that honour.”
