It was a jazzy affair

A Chatham hockey legend was among the more than 150 former stroke survivors and their families attending Friday’s 9th annual stroke garden party.

The event, held on the lawn of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, allowed guests to hear inspiring and triumphant stories from stroke survivors.

Among them was 87-year-old Frank Uniac of Chatham, a long-time hockey player and coach.
