‘Cronyism’ still going on at eHealth, Progressive Conservatives charge

TORONTO – Former Courtyard Group consultants are making a comeback, Progressive Conservatives charged during a committee hearing Monday.

“Cronysim and scandalous spending are still going on at eHealth,” PC MPP Rick Nicholls said to Health Minister Deb Matthews.

Just moments earlier, Nicholls said that TELUS Healthcare Solutions is “poised” to win major contracts with eHealth, the government agency in charge of moving the health system onto electronic health records. The agency said no decision has been made on the contracts and other firms besides TELUS could get the work.
